Reflection reducing products

Audio Geek Zine has a post on reflection reducing mic products. A nice round-up. I actually hadn’t heard of the ModTrap. It seems a bit small to me.

Hydra

This is a tension-thing, made out of drums (which I personally think sound really good!) and a synth sound. Some lo-fi effects have been applied, mainly flanging tape.

VCE 1

A percussive, moving synth sound that I liked, on top of a strange, somewhat urban beat with congas, crap and drums.

Funk it

I started doing a drum and bass pattern for this clip. First I just laughed at it because it sounded crazy, but the more times I looped it the more I liked it. I then added some funky wah-wah guitars and gritted it with some tape.
