I was surfing Youtube today and found a video of sE Reflexion Filter. I think I’ve talked about this product in the past but here’s a video for you anyway.

Treat your room in style

Auralex Acoustic has come up with the idea that should have come up years ago. It’s called SOnicPrint and it looks good. After all why treat your room in only red or blue or whatever when you can have wicked film styled photos, art or any photo you like on your walls and still get the benefits of proper acoustic treatment?

Price? I have no idea. I bet it’s not cheap.

Some acoustic advice

I did an interview with Tom Jansen for ProToolerBlog.com. Tom has consulted, designed and outfitted studios throughout the last years, so I figured if anyone knows acoustics it’s him. While this interview is more aimed towards music studios, I think there are a few things that you might find interesting.

I had some fun with a very weird effect. Basically what I did was create take a very boring thing to start with and made the effect mess it up. Hopefully at least some of it is useful to any of you.

This is an annoying one, mainly because of the horrible kick… But I hear some people like that sort of thing.
