STSideComp “ducking plug-in”

I just found this at Audio Tech News

StSoft has released a ‘Ducking Plug-in’ - a straightforward, full parameterized compressor with a dedicated sidechain input stereo channel. It is designed as a VST effect for MacOSX and is specially created for and tested with Ableton Live.

While the article talks about ducking in music, it’s - as you know loyal reader - also very relevant in podcasting.
